    The analytical applications analyst is an expert in design and development of analytical applications through information consumer platforms such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, SAP-BO, MicroStrategy, SAS, etc.

    This consultant masters the development, deployment and administrative aspects of one or many of these platforms and is able to take full advantage of the strengths of each one.

    The analytical applications analyst presents in a simple and visually appealing way data that enable clients to solve complex problems in order to achieve their business goals.

    The data integration specialist constantly faces the challenge of creating innovative links between complex data in order to obtain information relevant to decision making. He or she has an analytical mind that it continually leverages to optimize access to information in the most rapid manner. He or she is comfortable with tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Informatica PowerCenter, DataStage and is fluent in SQL.

    Overview of responsibilities :

    • Design data integration strategies in order to supply data structures for informational purposes.
    • Designing data models for data warehouses.
    • Propose and implement innovative solutions to complex data integration challenges.
    • Improve the team by sharing knowledge.

    ARCHITECT / ANALYTICAL SOLUTIONS

    The data warehouse / analytical solutions architect is a person with a minimum of 3 years of diversified experience in various technology components that make up analytical solutions and on the interaction of these components.

    The Solution Architect has a strong background in integration and data warehousing, as well as the establishment of appropriate analytical tools. He or she is also passionate about our clients’ business challenges, the technological progress in business intelligence and their contribution in the development of analytical solutions.

    Overview of responsibilities :

    • Architecture definition, including cloud computing.
    • Selection of platforms and technology.
    • Development of best practices.
    • Development of a security integration plan.
    • Development of a testing plan for the strategy.
    • Ensure alignment between the proposed solution and business objectives.
    • Elaboration of architecture files.
    • Production of data models.
    • Elaboration of the data integration and acquisition strategy.

    Required qualities :

    • Loves to share his or her knowledge and loves collaborative work.
    • Is comfortable (certification desirable) with Microsoft technologies: SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS and Power BI.
    • Passionate about the technological advancements relating to analytical tools.
    • Has a good experience of infrastructure and services in the cloud (Azure, Amazon Web Services, etc.).
    • Good communicator, can clearly show the benefits of the solution and is able to justify the architectural choices.
